NHRI Leadership Mentoring is celebrating its 75th Anniversary! Our founders, Dr. William Hall and Dr. Don Clifton began a ripple effect that would go on to change the lives of countless people. It is impossible to capture the full impact they have made, but we will try through a series of stories and celebrations to mark this important milestone in our program’s history.

75th Anniversary Event Highlights
September 24 and 25 - Virtual Alumni Project Meetings
NHRI Alumni from across the country and decades are invited to virtually join one of the current seven project meetings. You will learn more about NHRI today, engage with our current leadership mentors and hear about the impact they are having with their mentees. Join us for this fun-filled hour!
Sunday, October 27 - Fall Kick-Off & Real Leadership Challenges
Fall Kick-off is an annual NHRI event that brings together leadership mentors, leadership mentees, and their families for a day of leadership development and community-building. Families and alumni are invited to learn about the NHRI research agenda from Dr. Lindsay Hastings. Afterward, everyone comes back together to enjoy games and activities created by each project!
November 2 - Nebraska vs UCLA - Tailgate at 501 Building
NHRI alumni, family and friends are invited to reminisce and share memories on your way to Memorial Stadium as we cheer on the Huskers vs the Bruins. Go Big Red!
November 8 - NHRI Alumni Class, Luncheon, Generativity Focus Groups and 75th Anniversary Celebration & Fundraiser
On Friday, November 8, class is back in session for our alumni as we recreate our favorite Thursday night NHRI Class. After class, current Leadership Mentors will join us for an inspiring luncheon and an alumni panel discussion. Our afternoon will conclude with alumni sharing stories about how they grew as leaders during their mentoring experience. These stories will be part of a research study, led by Dr. Lindsay Hastings, current NHRI Research Director, funded by The Allstate Foundation. Later that evening a special 75th celebration and fundraiser as we honor our past and build a future for the next generation of leaders.
November 9 - NHRI Campus Conversations & Tours
Alumni, families and friends are welcomed back to campus. Join us back on campus for a fun morning followed by curated campus tours led by our very own NHRI students and alumni tour guides.
