NHRI Alumni Class

NHRI alumni mentors are invited to experience the NHRI class all over again with fellow alumni from across the country and the decades. Revisit concepts taught in the NHRI class and dive deep into how you have used these concepts in your life since your time in NHRI. Whether you are an educator, business professional, or healthcare provider, this will be an experience you will not want to miss.

Dr. Lindsay Hastings, former NHRI Program Director and current NHRI Research Director will be your instructor for this special section of the NHRI class. As an added bonus, NHRI Class TAs from across the decades are returning back to campus to facilitate small group discussions.

Leadership Luncheon: Panel Discussion with Alumni & Mentors

NHRI Alumni and current Leadership Mentors are invited for a fun and inspiring luncheon and panel discussion. Panelists will share how their NHRI experiences have influenced their professional and personal successes. Check out the panelists below!

Alumni Generativity Focus Groups

Funded by a grant from The Allstate Foundation, Dr. Lindsay Hastings will gather groups of NHRI alumni to collect stories about how they grew as leaders during their mentoring experience. This research will help NHRI better understand how and why our mentors developed leadership skills, behaviors, and mindsets as a result of leadership mentoring. This research will also advance the field of leadership education and help scholars across the country understand more about how leadership mentoring works as a tool for leadership development.

Attending Virtually

For those alumni who cannot attend in person, a virtual experience will be offered on Zoom to replicate the in-person version as closely as possible.

During the Alumni NHRI Class, you will join a live stream of the class so you can re-visit NHRI concepts alongside those attending in person. During small group discussions, you will be moved into breakout rooms for discussion facilitated by former NHRI class TAs joining our alumni class from afar. During the luncheon, you are invited to join a live stream of the panel discussion.
